Alone in the office II + Weekends

Just came back from our self-declared 4pm break with Lynette.

Bought this horrible tasting (I just finished the last piece as I am typing) lemon biscuit and Maltesers from Watson's.

Bah, what a boring (can we find another word) day.

I'm doing the general answer sheet form today. Like finally, some work from our direct supervisor. No files, papers, staplers, punchers, photocopying, sorting, printing and importantly, no more "Where is my XYZ??""

Anyways, like it or not, there's only 2 weeks left and well, schools is starting again. Year 3 semester 1. I don't know if you guys out there follow my blog, but I think this blog has followed me through since Year 1 semester 2 till now and sadly, I still don't look forward to school.

Jean is on MC again. Hmm, beats me. Stomach Flu, or so I heard. Oh sorry, changed; Headache.

I wonder why I have to italicise "Stomach Flu" and "Headache"? =D

Weekends was a craze. I went out Friday night drinking and reached home at 4 in the morning. Woke up at about 6.30pm the following day and decided nearing 10pm with Ash to watch "Knowing", a Science Fiction film with the "End of the world" (my type of movies) touch to it. I liked the beginning, especially how and when the predictions of Lucinda Embry 50 years ago came true. We had dinner at Plaza Singapura Café Cartel just before the show and I can honestly say, never dine in a restaurant (or Café, for that matter) 15 minutes before the last order. Cause its either attitude, or bad food.

We walked to the 24 hour Starbucks at Raffles City after the movie and decided to leave not long after. We waited and waited and waited to find that the service has somehow discontinued. Kudo's man. No wonder I felt weird when everybody else waiting for some bus has already boarded. But it does feel good to have some peace and tranquil from the mundane worldly affairs. Back to Starbucks we went and waited for the 1st train.

And I took the wrong train again, gosh. Just what's wrong with me and signs and direction.

Reached home at about 7.30am, and woke up at 11.30am to meet Yvonne and people to go Escape as ShiMin's 19th birthday celebration.

Escape was crazy enjoyable! The 1st attraction we went into was the Haunted House and hell, it was scary I gotto admit yo! Somehow had a resemblance of the scenes in House of the Dead in the video arcade games and Saw and Resident Evil. Gory.

Also tried the Bumper boat and was soaking wet to the skin when we came out. Had a fun time squirting water at each other! Also went on the Viking ship and Shirley was so so so freaked out.

We (actually I) lied to Shirley about the boat ride can choose stage 1 (I think 5 meters) and 2 (15 meters high). But of course cannot choose and finally, just before our turn we told her that if she gets on the boat, she has go to through both slides. Lucky we told her, if not later she loses her cool and tries to jump off the boat; what a hilarious sight wouldn't it be? =P

*imagine a mad woman screaming off her head*
I'm laughing so hard right now.

I tried the Advanced Go-Kart ride. OMFG, its damn FUN! I stepped all the way on the accelerator pedal. I also performed a lil' "drifting" as the floor was kinda wet after the rain. I only knew the feeling of drifting was great playing arcade games, but it feels ecstatic on real driving!!!

Left for dinner and ferris wheel ride.

On a random side note, if you know everything in life beforehand, then what's the point of life? Wouldn't that be just living a monotonous life made from flesh and bone and nothing else?

Eh wait, I can predict one thing though, I would have "Stomach Flu" on the 8th of April 2009, Wednesday.
